Downgrade CDM to 2209 on Chrome (Windows)

• Locate Chrome Install Folder
• Overwrite CDM

Locate Chrome Install Folder

• Close Chrome if open
• Select and Right Click Chrome shortcut

• Click Open file location
• This will open Windows Explorer, navigate to the first folder that has numbers (ex: 96.0.4664.45)

• Navigate to the WidevineCdm\_platform_specific\win_x64 folder

Overwrite CDM

• Download Widevine CDM 2209: https://dl.google.com/edgedl/widevine-cdm/4.10.2209.0-win-x64.zip
• Copy and replace the following files:
  • widevinecdm.dll
  • widevinecdm.dll.lib
  • widevinecdm.dll.sig
• You can now open Chrome

Note: Don't replace the manifest.json file as this will cause Chrome to update the CDM
